Directions: From Jasper (intersection of Hwys. 515 and 53) - Travel north on Hwy 515 about 6 miles; turn left onto Carns Mill Rd.; travel about 1 mile to a parking lot on the right. There is a short walk to the apiary on a trail beginning across from the parking lot entrance. The trail should be marked. (See park map)

Through  collaboration with the Southeastern Trust for Parks and Land conservation group ABAoG was able to build a club apiary at Talking Rock Nature Preserve in Talking Rock, GA. Then with a donation  by Maureen Cartoon of her late husband's hives and equipment the apiary was created in the Spring of 2018.  Then on May 19, 2019 the apiary was officially named and dedicated to Bud Champlin, Master Beekeeper and co-found of our club.
